INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON SMART DESIGN & MANUFACTURING
(IWSDM’2015)
Workshop on Smart Design & Manufacturing (IWSDM’2015) will be held in July 21-22, 2015, at the Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Istanbul Technical University, Istanbul, Turkey to seek future cooperation with Istanbul Technical University, Korean Advanced Institute of Science Technology (KAIST) and The University of Tokyo in the field of Design and Manufacturing (DM). The workshop intends to exchange new ideas in smart DM and the following topics:
- mechanical design,
- curve, surface, and manifold modeling,
- data fitting and approximation,
- function and assembly modeling,
- geometric and topological representations of shape,
- mesh processing,
- model validation and repair,
- parametric and feature-based models and representations,
- physically-based concepts for shape modeling,
- product data standards, exchange, and interoperability,
- reverse engineering, model reconstruction from samples,
- shape analysis and understanding,
- user interaction and haptic interfaces,
- bio-medical.
